WE WORSHIP TOO.
Some of the most loving people you know don't go to church anymore. Not because they stopped believing — but because somewhere along the way, they got the sense there wasn't room for someone like them. Their politics. Their questions. Who they love.
We think that's the wrong picture. The body of Christ was never meant to look all the same — it's made of every kind of person, worshiping in every kind of way, and it isn't whole when someone's missing. The door was never actually closed.
But they won't hear that from us — not in a way they'll believe. They'll hear it from you.
Our customer is the welcomer — someone still in the pew who wants the person who left to know there's a seat for them. Our shirts are made for someone and never against anyone: teachers, scientists, skeptics, and the folks who disagree with you at coffee hour. Each one is a quiet way to hold the door open.
So we're not really asking you to buy a shirt (okay — technically we are). We're asking you to join us in advertising something true: that houses of worship can be welcoming places for them, too.
Wear the invitation. Let the person who walked away overhear it — and believe it.
